Starting as a small project earlier this year, Morgantown, and now Shark County has grown exponentially farther than any of us have imagined. Shark County has prospered because of a few reasons, one being the fact we don’t worry as much about rentals, but expand based on tier contributions from our members. Each community thrives on it’s own, but we become better as one.

Historical Dates:
- 4/14/23 – Constanza, Our Robot Overlord becomes Mayor.
- 6/7/23 – Morgantown’s First GTFO Hub is added.
- 6/16/23 – Eastgate Village joins Shark County.
- 7/7/23 – Black Forest joins Shark County.
- 7/27/23 – Morgantown’s Airport Opens.
- 10/22/23 – Shark County gets a Flickr Group.
- 11/09/23 – Shark County gets a logo (Thanks to DK/Sharky).
- 11/10/23 – Heterocera Equestrian joins Shark County.
- 11/24/23 – Foxtown joins Shark County.
Developments
Expansion and Land
We have become absolutely massive being visible on any map of Heterocera without having to zoom in, Shark County has over 596,000m2 of land, with the largest land holder being Foxtown at 201552m2 of Land equivalent to 3.07 Full Regions. This is followed by Morgantown at 154,080m2.
We have had a amazing airport added to Morgantown, thanks to Sam Portocarrero. We also have one in Foxtown with them joining the county(What other RP community has 2 separate airports)
Roleplay
Over 100 Emergency Calls this year amongst all departments.
Over 46 Roleplay Businesses and Entities within the Community, 30 of them having active roleplay management within the last 3 months.
Shark County implemented a DMV System with at the time of this writing 44 registered vehicles, 21 licenses issued, 30 citizens registered.
Events
The largest and most popular event was the Car Meet in November, where the region hit the max and had a waitlist of people wanting to come in the event.
In the next year….
- We plan to finish the roadway from Morgantown to it’s neighboring communities to accompany the public linden roadways.
- We hope to increase active members and hold regular events.
- Partnerships will be established with other existing communities on Heterocera.
